Our step-by-step process is tailored to help you bring your dream home to life.
PLANNING PHASE & SITE ASSESSMENT
In this step, we’ll help you find your perfect Empire home plan and personalize it to fit your custom needs. Start by touring one of our many beautiful model homes, or our 3,900 sq.ft. design studio to become familiar with our floor plans and finishes, and from there we’ll create pricing worksheets to get an idea of the total budget. Our Director of Construction will conduct a complimentary site visit to provide a comprehensive site fee for your land, and we’ll begin conversations with lenders for a construction loan.
CONTRACT & DESIGN PROCESS
In this stage, we’ll finalize all structural options and sign the agreement ($10,000 earnest money deposit). Once signed, we’ll apply for building permits and prep work on your land will begin. We’ll work directly with your dedicated design consultant to customize all the selections for your dream home.
We’ll begin construction on your home a few months after contract (this time frame is contingent on several factors including ARC approval, permits, design selection completion, etc.). During this time, we’ll provide updates throughout the building process so you’re always in the loop. Several meetings — including a pre-construction meeting, pre-drywall walk through, and pre-closing orientation — will also be scheduled. Once the drywall has been completed, you’ll be notified of your closing date.
