The Empire team is back from Las Vegas, Nevada where we traveled to attend the 2018 National Sales and Marketing Awards. The awards bring together the very best talent in new home sales, marketing and design from across North America to be recognized for their accomplishments in our industry. We are thrilled to announce we brought home six Gold Awards for our Empire Maverick and Empire Phoenix.

Empire Phoenix and Maverick represents Empire’s re-emergence into Toronto’s high-rise market in 2018 and we committed to understanding and supporting our future homeowners values and goals in and effort to create meaningful experiences and resources that would help through the homebuying journey.


Empire Phoenix, located in Etobicoke’s Mystic Pointe Neighbourhood was crafted out of the idea that owning a home doesn’t mean sacrificing your lifestyle. This scenic new community will promotes experience and belonging, and we wanted our messaging to speak to the trials of adulting, new home ownership and support our homeowners in that journey.


Empire Maverick, on King Street West was created to be as stylish as its address. Maverick residents will have their finger on the pulse of the city’s best restaurants, bars and social hotspots, all supported by their central address. To craft this lifestyle, we launched The Maverick Social, offering a comprehensive calendar of events and a space flexible enough to house a diverse mash-up of lifestyle driven happenings, from art shows to foodie events or cocktail parties.

Tasked with creating two very distinct personalities for these two Toronto communities, we’re thrilled that our work not only resonated with our peers, but also with the residents of the communities we’re building in and our future homeowners.

Along with our Gold Awards, we were also recognized with 9 additional Silver Awards in various categories for Empire Phoenix, Empire Maverick and Empire Riverland. A big congratulations to the entire team. We’re looking forward to another year of innovation ahead.
