Amenities at Blanco Vista have been designed so that residents can make the most of time spent outdoors. With an array of first-class amenities on-site — including two community pools, a picnic pavilion, hike and bike trails, beautifully landscaped parkways and a stocked fishing pond — residents can make lifelong memories without having to leave the community.
As a Blanco Vista resident, your children will have access to outstanding education within the Hays Consolidated Independent School District. Hays CISD is dedicated to nurturing students into becoming extraordinary citizens through personal educational experiences alongside an innovative community of learners. Blanco Vista Elementary is on-site in the community, while Wallace Middle School and Lehman High School are both just outside Blanco Vista. All schools will academically prepare students for higher learning.
Students choosing to pursue higher learning have the option of attending either Austin Community College or Texas State University, both of which are just a 10-minute drive from Blanco Vista.

Hays High School is classified as a 6A school by the UIL is the oldest existing high school in Hays Consolidated School District, opened its doors in 1968, was thoroughly renovated in the 2000s. Hays High School was named after John (Jack) Coffee Hays, a frontier defender, Texas Ranger and hero to those he fought to protect.
Austin Community College is a nationally recognized two-year college that serves Central Texas as the primary gateway to higher education and technical training. ACC’s mission is to provide open door access to an affordable college education for those who want to earn a degree, learn a marketable skill and advance their careers.
