Construction is progressing well at Empire Phoenix in Toronto’s Humber Bay Shores. Over the past few months, our construction team has been working diligently and has seen great progress throughout the building, with our lobby nearing 90% completion. Phoenix’s amenity spaces have begun construction as well — both inside and outdoors.
In residents’ suites, studs are almost complete with mechanical and electrical rough-ins not far behind. Drywall will also be installed soon, with taping to follow. On the lower floors of the building, kitchen and tile installation is progressing well. Countertops are being measured and some have already been installed.
In addition to these exciting construction updates on site, final paint has begun on the ground level of the building and will be tackled floor by floor. The installation of fixtures will commence in the coming month as well. Just outside of Phoenix’s doors, the exterior landscaping is 70% complete, with further updates on hold until the spring when weather conditions improve.
