Empire Phoenix has it all: cool amenities, quick access to Toronto’s downtown core and surrounding GTA neighbourhoods, and a prime location in Etobicoke’s Mystic Pointe area. Oh, and did we mention that our south-facing garden suites offer unbeatable views of Grand Avenue Park, as well as quick access to Humber Bay Shores? Phoenix’s access to some of the area’s best parks is by far one of its greatest advantages — just imagining opening up your front door and being met with an impressive green space, or stepping out for a walk along the waterfront without having to venture too far. If you’re considering calling one of our two-storey remaining garden suites home, read on for some of the recreational opportunities you’ll have access to just steps away from Phoenix.
Unwind at Grand Avenue Park
A lush green space with tall trees for shade, Grand Avenue Park is already a local favourite spot to relax and unwind — and it’s getting better. In 2019, the City of Toronto began its expansion of the park into a 12-acre oasis with new amenities that include a multi-purpose sports field and hard court, toboggan hill, splash pad, community green space, playground and off-leash dog area. The project is divided into two phases, with phase two set to begin August 2021.
Seek Adventure at Humber Bay Shores
Whether kayaking, canoeing, cycling, strolling along the lake or simply enjoying the million-dollar view of Toronto, there’s no shortage of things to do along the Humber Bay Shores. Just a 20-minute walk from Phoenix, Humber Bay Shores also hosts countless food truck vendors and farmers’ markets in the summertime.
About Our Garden Suites
If you don’t want to live in a high-rise building but low-maintenance living appeals to you, garden suites are a great option. Our two-storey suites mimic single-detached living while still offering access to all of Phoenix’s amenities, including an intimate party room, outdoor pool and fitness centre. If you’re looking to call a garden suite home, you’re in luck — we’ve saved the best for last, with most of our remaining garden suites facing Grand Avenue Park.
