With demolition now complete and construction officially underway, we’re excited to share some of the first updates from Empire Maverick on King Street West. Here’s a look at how things are progressing on site this summer.
Since we broke ground in spring 2020, the Empire construction team has been busy on site with the beginning stages of the building’s construction. With vertical drilling of the building’s shoring system along the property line completed earlier this summer, excavation for Maverick officially began on July 17.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Once excavation of the first parking level is completed, we’ll be ready to start on the ground floor staging slab and excavation will continue until we reach the foundation. Stay tuned for more progress to come in the next few months.
