As an Avenue & Lawrence resident for more than 13 years, TradelogiQ Chairman and CEO Laurence Rose watched Empire Maven rise from the ground up. “I’ve driven by this site many times over the last couple of years, and I watched the building being built. Each time I passed by it looked more and more exciting, and when it was finished, I could tell that it was a special property and it looked really interesting.” Now a Maven resident, we sat down with Laurence to share his experience. See what he had to say below.

“For me, this condo purchase represents a new beginning, new opportunity and a new excitement. A brand new condo in a new building was a unique opportunity and a great fit for what I was looking for, and I couldn’t be more excited to move in.”
The Area
“I’ve lived in this area for a long time. It’s one of the reasons I was drawn to the building — it’s centrally located. I work downtown and it’s easy to go to work, and it’s also easy to get to the highway if you want to get out of the city. In addition, there’s so many things you can walk to. You can get groceries, walk to restaurants, pharmacies or even green space for exercise. It has everything I’m looking for.”
The Floor Plan
“The Greer floor plan worked really well for me. I like the connection between the open kitchen and living room, and the flexibility of this layout was a great fit. The way that the bedrooms are situated — one on one side, one on the other — creates some separation and privacy. It’s a very comfortable layout; it doesn’t feel chopped up, it feels nice and open and easy to move from one space to the next. It’s a really excellent design.”
Working with Empire
“I wasn’t familiar with Empire before I came into the building and started working with the team, but the experience has been incredible. The cleanliness of the unit and the way that they’ve been dealing with everybody is great. Even though I hadn’t heard of Empire in the past, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other people.”
