Located in Houston’s desirable Memorial neighborhood, Reserve in Memorial offers an unbeatable lifestyle. From its lush greenery and off-leash dog park to its wide selection of shopping and entertainment options, the community has something for everyone.

But don’t just take our word for it — we caught up with long-time Memorial residents, to get a local’s perspective on life in the community.

Q: What drew you to the neighborhood?

A: So many factors — great schools, small-town relationships within our large city, location, access to restaurants, sporting and arts venues… the list goes on.

Q: What’s it like living here?

A: I’ve lived in the area since 1992. It’s a fantastic place to raise a family. Everyone takes pride in the community and cares for their neighbors, making it feel like home.

Q: Any community events you recommend attending?

A: There’s always something to do in Memorial. Each community within the area has events around most holidays that we look forward to attending every year. The community also supports local high school sports teams and art clubs. On top of that, we’re close enough to the central business district to enjoy all the events that take place in our larger city.

Q: What makes the community stand out?

A: Honestly, there’s no better place to raise a family. Kids receive a great education and grow up with a sense of community. Some other standout features include:

The direct access to amazing greenspaces like Terry Hershey Park and Waldemar Park is unmatched.

The community is zoned to outstanding schools where you feel confident in your child’s education.

The neighborhood is close to the Energy Corridor which is a huge employment center.

You’re in close proximity to so many shopping and entertainment destinations like CityCentre, Memorial City and the Lakeside Country Club.

Outdoor Activity:

Buffalo Bayou Activities.

Spot to Workout:

Club Westside, Lifetime at CityCentre.
