Our Empire Legacy community in Thorold continues to flourish with exciting new progress underway as we enter the spring season. Here’s what’s been happening on site over the past few weeks.
Phase 1
With Phase 1 of the community now 95% complete, our team is excited to have reached this big milestone in construction as the area’s final 5 homes are currently in the process of framing. All other homes in Phase 1 are fully occupied by Legacy families, and will have the top coat of their driveways paved by this fall.
Phase 2
With Phase 2 also at 95% completion, the majority of homes are now fully occupied, with the 3 that remain scheduled to close by September. Since the area’s sod was laid down last autumn, it’s looking greener than ever — all thanks to this season’s warmer weather.
Phase 3
As framing begins for the last few houses that were released, Phase 3 has reached 70% completion. Over half of the homes are now fully occupied, with more homeowners moving in each day. Work on the curbs, sidewalks and asphalt driveways is scheduled to begin this summer, along with sodding.
Phase 4
With all of the trees now cleared, the land department is scheduled to begin earthwork in May.
