If we told you that you could have a crystal-clear lagoon, grotto with a waterfall and hammock lawn in your backyard, would you believe us? Probably not. But at Sunterra — one of our newest master-planned communities in the highly desirable Katy area — all of that is made possible and more. At Sunterra, there’s no activity that you cannot partake in, no minute of the day that bores and no cap on family fun. A launch pad for endless adventure, this community keeps you connected to everything you love about home and nature. Now that we’ve told you a bit about what amenities to expect on site, it’s time to discover what the surrounding area has to offer too. Here are a few of the things we love doing most in and around the community.

A stocked fishing pond, expansive playground and walking trails are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the features that Mary Jo Peckham Park boasts. They even have a mini-putt course that kids can enjoy for free.

2. Exploration Park

It’s not named Exploration Park for no reason — this immersive public playground is a kid’s dream come true (and if we’re being honest, it’s ours too). Some of its many features include a sensory garden, swings, and a musical bridge.

3. Willow Fork Park

Take the kids out for an afternoon at Willow Fork Park, equipped with its own boardwalks, pedestrian bridge, playground, disc golf and pavilion facility.
