There is so much great progress happening on site at our Avalon community in Caledonia. We are pleased to report that Phase 3B is 75% complete, with 75% of homes now closed and occupied.
Approximately 20 homes on Castro Lane, Sundin Lane, and Santos Drive are in the final finishing stages and will close soon. Several homes on Sundin Lane and Santos Drive are currently at the drywall stage and are scheduled to close in May 2023, with several homes on Sundin Drive scheduled to start construction in late spring 2023. Curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and sod will all be starting in spring 2023 for the entire phase. This will add the finishing touches to the community and make it even more enjoyable for all residents.
Construction on Phase 8 has just begun, a major milestone our new families have been looking forward to. On Lilac Circle, 70% of homes have been excavated, and many have foundations poured and have been backfilled. Some homes have already moved into the framing stage, and we are pleased to announce that a handful of families have already moved into their new homes. The remaining 30% of homes are scheduled to start construction late spring/early summer, and we’re excited to see the progress as the community continues to grow. On Basswood Cres, 95% of homes are at the framing stage and are moving into the rough-in stage. Homes on Wintergreen Cres have also been excavated and backfilled.
