In Atlanta, there is always something to see and do no matter the time of year. From festivals to food and drink events and everything in between, you’re bound to find something you enjoy. However, it’s important to act fast, as some of these local events won’t be around for long. To help get you started, we’ve rounded up a few Atlanta-based events happening for a limited-time this season.

Mad Hatter’s (Gin &) Tea Party

Now through March 6

Literary enthusiasts will love this  extraordinary Alice in Wonderland-themed immersive experience. Down the rabbit hole you’ll go on a journey into this magical gin and tea party.

Atlanta Science Festival

March 12 – March 26

The Atlanta Science Festival is a two-week celebration of everything science and technology. Featuring over 100 engaging events, attendees will tackle projects relating to coding, astronomy, nature and so much more.

Georgia Aquarium 5K

March 12

Kickstart your health and wellness journey with the Georgia Aquarium, who are hosting their 5th annual 5K walk/run. You’ll be traveling around through the streets of downtown Atlanta, so be  sure to grab your best pair of sneakers before you hit the track.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 12

Now’s the time to put together your best green outfit and join hundreds on the streets of Midtown for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Witness over 2,000 dancers and musicians as they march down Peachtree Street. 

Orchid Daze at Atlanta Botanical Garden

Now through April 10

Enjoy a space filled with thousands of fragrant orchids on display in this annual exhibition. Winter’s favorite flower won’t be here for long, so be sure to get your tickets while you still can. 

The Obama Portraits Tour

Now through March 20

These remarkable paintings of former President and First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, have traveled all across the country, and for a limited time, they’ll be available for viewing in the High Museum of Art.
