Gaston County Family YMCA

With several locations across Belmont, The Gaston County Family YMCA provides a year-round enrichment program for all students, which include a variety of specialties to suit each child’s unique interests. The after school sessions run from the time of dismissal until 6:00pm, perfect for busy parents everywhere. 

NC Budo

NC Budo got its start in Belmont as a martial arts studio for students of all ages, and has continued its work in educating the community on the lifelong benefits of this practice. Their after school program allows students to receive schoolwork support while engaging in supervised play and martial arts training. 

Charlotte

After School Enrichment Program (ASEP)

Available in many schools within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District, the After School Enrichment Program is designed to provide a nurturing environment where students can get their homework done and enjoy thoughtful exploration through games and activities.    

UrbanPromise Charlotte

UrbanPromise offers a structured after-school program available to young learners and high school students alike, with a focus of academic support and character building. High school students can also opt in to become “StreetLeaders”, taking the lead on running smaller learning sessions with the younger students. 

The Young Achievers Club

Offered by the Childcare Network, The Young Achievers Club gives students the freedom to engage in activities that align with their interests. From the arts and music, to science and problem solving, there’s bound to be an activity they’ll enjoy. The goal is to build important life skills while guided through play and exploration.

FLYERS

The FLYERS (Fun Loving Youth En-Route to Success) after-school program serves thousands of children each year, with fun recreational opportunities that allow students to build fundamental skills through play. The FLYERS program is more than just a daycare service  — it’s a place where kids can be kids, in a safe and comfortable environment. 

USK Martial Arts 

Young kids often have boundless amounts of energy, making them perfect candidates for the USK Martial Arts after-school program. In addition to helping out with extra homework, students can enjoy Taekwondo classes that are suitable for any skill level, taught by certified martial arts instructors. 

Harrisburg

YMCA

The Harrisburg YMCA offers after-school programs for the elementary school zoned at Camellia Gardens.
