Bike the Historic Escarpment Rail Trail

Ontario is yours to discover, and we like to think a bike is one of the best ways to explore some of our province’s most scenic regions. A favourite among avid cyclists is the Escarpment Rail Trail – Canada’s first multi-use interurban trail system developed to breathe new life into an abandoned CN line. Extending from above the Niagara Escarpment near the picture-perfect Albion Falls to the lower city of Hamilton, the Escarpment Rail Trail offers stunning views for bikers and hikers alike, and is just a short drive from our Lush & Victory Communities. Spanning 32-kilomteres the trail connects Hamilton to the picturesque Dundas Valley Conservation Area and our Wyndfield community in Brantford. As part of the Trans Canada Trail network, the possibilities for onwards exploration are endless, and we’ve got a guide to help you enjoy the ride.
