Beyond the Sea breaks ground!

ETOBICOKE, ONTARIO, JUNE 25, 2008 – On Tuesday, June 17th, Empire Communities hosted an on-site celebration for purchasers and local dignitaries to mark on the onset of construction of the first two towers at Beyond the Sea - Etobicoke’s most successful waterfront condominium community. Beyond The Sea opened just one year ago and proved an overnight success with first-time buyers, move-up purchasers and empty nesters, all seeking the ultimate in lakeside living, just 10 minutes from downtown. Star Tower at Beyond The Sea, the third and final tower released in late November of 2007, has attracted the same variety of purchasers.

Situated on Lake Shore Boulevard West, just west of Park Lawn Road, the three towers will be nestled between extensive new public parkland coming to the north, and on the south by the Martin Goodman Trail, a 350 km trail system that wends its way locally through Humber Bay Park and past Mimico Creek. This community offers proximity to the many shops and services along The Queensway, plus easy access to the Gardiner Expressway.

"There are numerous individuals whose creative genius brought our vision to life,” said President Daniel Guizzetti during the official ceremonies. “I would especially like to thank the City of Toronto and Ward 6 Etobicoke-Lakeshore Councillor Mark Grimes for their support and collaboration, E.I. Richmond Architects, Munge Leung Design Associates, plus the many members of our own staff for their dedication, passion and enthusiasm. However, only so much planning can go into any development; it is really our homeowners who turn it into community. Each of you was instrumental in understanding and sharing our vision to create Etobicoke's premier property. Thank you for your trust in us, and congratulations on your purchase at Toronto's most successful waterfront destination."

An excellent selection of Star Tower suites is still available that spans the gamut from one-bedroom to two-bedroom plus den suites. Available suites range in size from 584 to 1,146 sq. ft., priced from $248,400 to $699,900. Prices include a parking space and six appliances. Maintenance is estimated at 48 cents per square foot (hydro separate). Parking maintenance will run $35 per month per space, and locker maintenance $10 per month per space. First occupancies are slated for Spring 2011. Register now for Star Tower Colonnade - the new release of one-bedroom and one-bedroom plus den suites with south exposures and views to the landscaped courtyard coming soon.
